Wednesday, February 15 2023 PUI Baterai Lithium UNS attended the signing ceremony Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dan Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between UMORIE Graphine Teknologi Sdn Bhd Malaysia.
Event led directly by the Chancellor of Sebelas Maret University Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum dan Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation, Business and Information Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Sajidan , M.Si., Prof. Dr. Ir. Eng. Agus Purwanto, S.T., M.T., as a head of PUI Baterai Lithium UNS and his staff and Ts. Suria Affendi Bin Amirrudin as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) UMORIE Graphene Technologies Sdn Bhd Malaysia.
UMORIE Graphene Technologies (UGT) is a deep tech startup company and startup EV based in Malaysia. It was established in 9th April 2020 and is a wholly owned, homegrown Malaysia brand. UGT is the dedicated research and development company of ASP PRO Sdn Bhd, which has laboratory facilities to support the pilot production of graphene battery. UGT has recently collaborated with NanoMalaysia (NMB) to develop Malaysia’s first graphene-based pouch cell battery to be used in electric vehicles (EV). This full-cell lithium-ion battery enhanced with graphene is expected to be a more efficient storage platform for EV applications.
By signing this collaboration, it is expected to build good relations between the two parties and be able to innovate in developing technologies in the future.
